Tropical Date Energy Balls with Chia Seeds

These energy balls are quick and healthy, with a scrumptious, tropical flavor twist! They're full of dried fruit, protein and grains – great as a post-workout snack and perfect for kids! Freezable, too (so make a double batch)!

– almonds – almond butter – quick oats – coconut – dates – pineapple – honey

Step 1 :  To make almond butter, place 1 cup of almonds in a mini food processor (we like to use the smallest, “mini” container in our Ninja processor set).

Step 2 :  Process, scraping sides occasionally until the butter is the consistency of natural peanut butter. 

Step 3 : Place almond butter in a medium bowl and add all other ingredients.
