Homemade Energy Balls With Almond Butter 

These Almond Butter Energy Balls are full of protein, complex carbs and great nutrition from nuts, flax and oats.

You can nosh on these sweet and totally delicious energy balls without that awful (AW-FUL!) sugar crash that comes with candy.

- Almonds - Shredded coconut - Quick oats - Ground flaxseed meal - Honey - Almond extract - Salt

INGREDIENTS:

Place a cup of almonds in a mini food processor. Process, scraping sides occasionally, until the butter is the consistency of natural peanut butter.

Place almond butter in a medium bowl and add all other ingredients except chocolate chips. Stir to combine.

Add chocolate chips to mixture and stir again, just until combined. Using your hands, press FIRMLY to form one-inch balls.
