Asian Salmon Burgers with Avocado and Hoisin Sauce

These super-fast Asian Salmon Burgers are a great make-ahead dinner for busy nights, and because they don't have bread crumbs as a filler, they're a terrific gluten-free option, too!

Ingredients

– salmon filets – cilantro leaves – green onions – hoisin sauce – avocado – fresh ginger – garlic – kosher salt

Place ingredients in a food processor. Using pulsed on/off bursts, process just briefly, until the mixture is combined.

Shape salmon mixture into thick patties and place them on a plate.

Cook salmon patties in sesame oil, covered, for about 4 minutes on the first side.

Meanwhile, as the salmon cooks, mash the remaining avocado with salt and black pepper.

Serve salmon burgers immediately on whole grain buns, with mashed avocado mixture, tomato slices, lettuce, and additional hoisin sauce.
