– Fresh green beans – Canola or olive oil  – Kosher salt – Black pepper – Sliced almonds – Butter

INGREDIENTS:

Preheat oven to 475°F. Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper.

Arrange green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet. Spray lightly but evenly with cooking spray and then sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Roast beans for about 13-15 minutes, until crisp-tender, yet nicely browned.

Remove the beans from the oven. Place almonds, spread on a fresh piece of parchment, onto the baking sheet and roast.

Meanwhile, as beans are roasting, begin making browned butter sauce.
