Yummy Red-Miso Salmon 

The Red-Miso Glazed Salmon is an outstanding dish, comparable to a meal you'd find in a restaurant, and it can be prepared in just 30 minutes (with optional make-ahead steps)!

Taking inspiration from a beloved OBX restaurant, this dish is infused with vibrant and savory Asian tastes.

• salmon • mirin • onions • ginger • oil • tamari • salt

Ingredients

Combine mirin and sake in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, allowing the alcohol to burn off. (Always be careful when cooking with alcohol, as it can cause a small flame.)

Turn the heat to low and add red miso paste and sugar, whisking to combine.

Continue cooking over low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes (at just a very slight simmer with only occasional bubbles) to allow the glaze to thicken and reduce.
