Mom’s Best Whole Wheat Waffles

– eggs – milk – flour – applesauce – canola oil – baking powder – brown sugar – salt – optional toppings

Step 1 :  Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.

Step 2 :  In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients (except optional toppings) with a large spoon until thoroughly combined.
