Grilled Tropical Fruit with Almond-Ricotta Sauce

Warm pineapple and bananas are accented by cool, sweet almond-ricotta sauce. A decadently simple solution for keeping your kitchen cool – dessert on the grill!

IngredientS

– nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt – ricotta cheese –  brown sugar – almond extract – pineapple – bananas – berries and/or flaked coconut, optional

Step 1 :  Combine yogurt, ricotta, brown sugar and almond extract in a small bowl, stirring well. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving.

Step 2 :  Clean your grill if needed. Oil the grates (preferably using a canola-soaked, wadded paper towel).

Step 3 :  Preheat grill on medium to medium-high. Lay pineapple crosswise on grates and close the lid.
