A Healthy Halloween Treat

These adorable Apple Mummies are such an easy, healthy Halloween treat! Your little ghosties will gobble them up! A perfect fruit snack for Halloween parties, spook-tacular fruit trays, or a fun October after-school nibble! 

INGREDIENTS

apple   – chocolate chips or dried blueberrie

STEP ONE: Cut apple in half vertically and carefully remove the core.

STEP TWO: Starting at one edge, use a vegetable peeler to remove haphazard strips of apple peel.

STEP THREE: Lay each apple half on a plate or serving tray and press two eyes into the apple in an area where the peel has been removed. If you're using mini chocolate chips, push the pointy end in first.
