Best Whole Wheat Waffles

These Whole Wheat Waffles are deliciously crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside!

– Eggs – Nonfat milk – Whole wheat flour – All-purpose flour – Unsweetened applesauce – Canola oil

INGREDIENTS:

Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions. Lightly grease if necessary.

In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients (except optional toppings) with a large spoon until thoroughly combined.

Pour batter into waffle iron. Close lid and bake until steaming stops.

Repeat with remaining batter. Serve with toppings as desired.
